In 2008, Abbey Manor’s property development activities entered a new and exciting period of growth with the launch of Abbey Manor Capital Partners (AMCAP).
There is little doubt that today, property development is tougher, more competitive, more regulated and faster-changing than ever before and all within a very challenging economic climate.
AMCAP is well-placed to respond to this challenge. As property developers, not traders, we undertake the full development process from blank sheet of paper to completed building. AMCAP has a highly experienced in-house development team and being privately owned we have short decision-making lines. This allows us to respond rapidly to new opportunities as they arise.
To date, our development activities have been focussed on the provincial cities and market towns of southern England with a particular concentration in South Somerset. The AMCAP team has a particular expertise in unlocking complex planning situations to maximise development potential. We are also experienced at working in structured joint ventures with both private and public sector partners.
A corner-stone of our business is working with occupiers to deliver high quality new office, industrial and business park workspace. To date, Abbey Manor has successfully delivered several million square feet of business parks, food and non-food retail, industrial, office, leisure, medical, mixed-use, motor trade, residential, trade counter and warehouse projects in Avon, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Essex, Hampshire, Somerset, Surrey, Sussex and Wiltshire.
