Abbey Manor Joins Sunday Times/PwC Profit Track 100

Abbey Manor is listed 20th in the prestigious Sunday Times/PwC Profit Track 100 for 2002.

The annual list compiled by Fast Track ranks Britain’s top performing private companies by profit growth over the last three years. With a 65% growth in profits from £0.9m in 1998 to £4.3M in 2001 when it had 98 workers Abbey Manor joins the list.

This year the company won a special Act of Parliament to fill in part of Plymouth harbour. Specialising in decontaminating and developing brownfield sites across the south of England, Abbey Manor says it takes on projects its competitors won't touch. Founded in 1870, the Yeovil company has diversified into waste management and water engineering.
