Indian summer at Solstice
Property Week – 3 December 2003
Amesbury Property Company has done its first deal at the 160 acre (65 ha) mixed-use Solstice Park in south Wiltshire. Yeovil-based Abbey Manor has paid £5m for the 19 acre (8 ha) plot, which is earmarked for industrial and distribution development.
Nigel Timmis, managing director of Abbey Manor, will be working in partnership with Cliff Whitley, development manager at Amesbury, to build the infrastructure on the site.
This work, costing £9m, is already under way to prepare the park and provide a new junction with the A303. Agents for the £250m development are Alder King and Myddelton & Major.
