Wynford House Practical Completion

The Abbey Manor Group owns Wynford House which is fully let to the Somerset NHS Primary Care Trust. Following an internal reorganisation, the PCT required a substantial 13,500 sq.ft extension to the existing office building.

The challenge presented to AMCAP was to complete the construction whilst the building remained fully operational and occupied. Construction work commenced in January 2009 and Practical Completion was achieved on 17 December 2009.

AMCAP's role comprised planning, development and construction management of the multi-phased project. Construction works included internal fit-out and the refurbishment/ remodelling of the original office building. The work was completed to a BREEAM "Very Good" standard.

Midas Construction acted as Main contractor under a standard JCT 2005 Design & Build contract.
