Weston Gateway (South), Weston-super-Mare

AMCAP owns a regionally significant 8.5 acre site with a long and direct frontage with the M5 Motorway at Jct.21. Detailed planning approval secured in the Summer of 2009 for a new high quality, campus style business park of some 185,000 sq.ft. The business park access road and utilities are now in-situ. Bunford Park is designed to become Yeovil's first masterplanned, high quality business park. The project comprises some 600,000 sq.ft of employment uses set within 40 acres of mature parkland. Outline planning approval was secured in Autumn 2009. The complex S.106 agreement is currently being negotiated. Abbey Manor owns a 20 acre site at Solstice Park. The speculatively built Beacon Centre, which offers a range of general employment units from 1,800-3,750 sq.ft, is now almost all sold/let. A 12,000 sq.ft R&D/office building has been built for Tintometer Ltd who took occupation in December 2005. The UK's second largest milk producer, Robert Wiseman Dairies, opened a regional distribution depot on a 9 acre plot in late 2009. Some five acres of development land remains. Wynford House, Yeovil

AMCAP recently completed the development and construction management of a 13,500 sq.ft extension to this NHS PCT occupied building. Works included the internal fit-out works and the refurbishment/remodelling of the original building. The work was completed to a BREEAM "Very Good" standard. Midas Construction acted as Main Contractor under a standard JCT 2005 Design and Build contract. The work commenced in January 2009 and Practical Completion was achieved in accordance with the agreed timetable on 17 December 2009.
